Hi, I'm Matt.
Hi, I'm Matt, a Swiss Product Lead and UX Strategist. With an educational background in architecture, I have spent my career designing user-centric solutions, bridging the gap between technical teams and leadership. I also like to use cliched phrases so there you have it.
I approach my work with strong intrinsic motivation and love to quickly master new tools, workflows, and concepts. I love to learn new things, one skill I have to master yet I guess is tpyging yptngi typing.
As a generalist I'm pretty decent at applying common sense and making pragmatic, data-driven decisions, especially when navigating complex or high-pressure situations.
When I'm off the clock, you can usually find me playing the drums or producing music, creating 3D art, or fine-tuning my barista skills (in other words, making yet another Flat White).

Never trading passion for glory
Over the past couple of decades, my career has evolved from hands-on web design and art direction to leading entire product and UX teams. I've had the opportunity to shape high-level product strategies, build and maintain SaaS platforms, and manage requirements for large-scale corporate websites. Whether I'm building a design department from the ground up, mentoring junior creatives, crafting a design system or diving into agile development to solve complex problems, my focus remains squarely on the user.

I love taking a product from early research stages all the way to launch, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to ensure the final result hits business goals while staying intuitive and beautifully crafted.
Outcomes Over Output
Having a strategic, results-oriented mindset is at the core of how I work. In my current role at deepico, I partnered with leadership to shape our product strategy and firmly root an 'outcomes over output' approach into our development culture. By prioritizing measurable goals over just churning out features, I make sure that the impact of design and research on our overall business success is always clear and effective. Over the past couple of years, I've also been diving deep into AI-powered design-to-code pipelines. It’s been an incredible way to measurably speed up our workflows and make the connection between design and engineering stronger than ever.On the other hand I have also proven time and again that I can handle the challenge of a messy product, introduce direction, devise a plan how to fix what is broken and follow through until it's done.
